Breast Cancer Foundation (“BCF”) is a not-for-profit organisation that relies largely on public funding and support from stakeholders to achieve our objectives and mission. Being an Institution of Public Character, BCF upholds a high standard of integrity to maintain the trust and confidence of the public, members, and volunteers.

To foster and maintain a culture of openness, accountability, and integrity, BCF has adopted a policy that provides a platform where members, staff, volunteers, and third parties can report unethical and corrupt practices without fearing adverse consequences, reprisal, or retaliation.
What to Report
Wrongful practices include but are not limited to the following:
1. Fraud, including falsification, forgery, submission of false documents, or making false statements.
2. Theft, misappropriation, or misuse of BCF funds or assets.
3. Corruption and bribery.
4. Violation of Singapore laws and regulations.
5. Repeated breaches of BCF’s Constitution, policies or procedures.
6. Actions causing harm or loss (financial, reputational, health or safety) to BCF, its members, or the public.
7. Assault, harassment, intimidation or discrimination.
Reporting Channels
To make a report, you may use the channels below:
To enable BCF to investigate your concerns effectively, the following information should be provided, where possible:
• Name(s) of person(s)/company(ies) involved;
• Your relationship with the reported person(s)/company(ies) involved;
• Date, time, and location of incident;
• Frequency of the occurrence of the incident;
• Value of any money or assets involved;
• Physical or material evidence, and other information that may substantiate the concern.
If any other BCF staff have been informed, please provide the notification date and contact information of the person notified.
We encourage whistleblowers to provide their names and contact details to facilitate follow-up for additional information or clarification, if necessary. BCF is committed to safeguarding the identity of whistleblowers and, to the extent permissible under Singapore law, will make every effort to ensure confidentiality.
