This programme is proudly supported by Project Haircatchers, a non-profit initiative founded in 2017 by students from NYGH (Nanyang Girls High School), with the aim of supporting cancer patients in their journey to recovery by collecting hair and donations to make wigs.
In 2022, the Project Haircatchers team gifted a whopping 136 wigs to its beneficiaries from Breast Cancer Foundation Singapore, FeM Surgery, Cancer Society of Maldives and Bali Pink Ribbon through decentralised donations.
Established in 2006, UEC Hair Studio specializes in non-surgical hair replacement solutions, providing personalized services to individuals experiencing hair loss for various reasons, including chemotherapy-induced hair loss.
Our mission is to empower individuals with confidence through customized, high-quality hair replacement services.
In 2025, to honor the strength and resilience of cancer patients and survivors, UEC launched Project HIGH (Hair for Fighting) to offer free, comprehensive hair replacement services, helping beneficiaries regain their sense of integrity and well-being.
As part of this initiative, UEC is offering BCF members a one-time, complimentary service, which includes either or both of the following: wig trimming and styling for a natural, comfortable look, and a professional wig consultation to ensure the perfect fit and style.
